WA Production has released a new MIDIQ plugin , an innovative MIDI sequence generator for studio and live applications, with a unique and highly interactive user interface.
Formation of music– Sometimes we sit down in the studio and we have fresh ideas. That’s when we take MIDIQ to kickstart the concept of chords, harmonies and basslines. Generating nearly limitless sequenced chord possibilities, MIDIQ uses a simple pattern style to define repetitive chords. The interface resembles a slot machine, so it is very visual. In fact, you don’t need any knowledge of music theory to get great results from MIDIQ. Each time you add or change a pattern icon, the algorithm generates a chord according to its position and also creates a set of eight alternative chord sequences for the current icon. Just click on one of the chords to switch to a new version. This is a really inspiring plugin.
