Overview of t.y.jake Vol. 1: Ty Jake is a producer from Boston, currently studying at Berklee College of Music. A classically trained tuba player raised on a wide range of music, from funk and disco to classic rock, he began producing at the age of 16. His samples demonstrate mastery of a variety of instruments – from vibraphones, wind instruments, guitars, double bass to piano. , voices and percussion, the tracks range from subdued, slow pieces at around 80 bpm to absolute searing sounds at over 170 bpm.
