System Requirements: Please note that this compilation exclusively includes third-party banks for quick installation and DOES NOT CONTAIN Omnisphere 2.6 and its factory libraries. We recommend installing this compilation on a clean Omnisphere environment with the following prerequisites:

Before installation, ensure that your Omnisphere is running smoothly without any issues or glitches.

Installation Steps:

  1. Mount the downloaded ISO image.
  2. Copy (merge) all subfolders from the STEAM folder of the image into the STEAM folder of your Omnisphere installation.
  3. Delete the file .\STEAM\Omnisphere\Soundsources\User\zmap.index in your STEAM folder.
  4. After copying is completed, launch Omnisphere (either as an application or a plugin) and wait for the tool interface to appear, replacing the black screen. This process may take anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes, depending on your computer’s speed.

During this time, the index files prt_omn.index and mlt_omn.index will be created in the copied folders, and the zmap.index file necessary for the library’s proper functioning will be regenerated.

Library Features: Our compilation includes an extensive collection of libraries that were publicly available before April 17, 2020, with a 99% probability of inclusion. To ensure smooth functionality of this vast library, we have made some structural and naming adjustments to the files and folders. This allows you to utilize all patches seamlessly, although it may lead to patch loading errors in older projects with different folder structures. Such issues are easily resolved through search and redirection, given the library’s optimized structure.

To enhance usability, we have organized the banks into subfolders, as Omnisphere recognizes all subfolders within the Patches directory as part of the same bank. However, please note that if subfolders contain patches with identical names, only one of these patches can be loaded into Omnisphere. To overcome this, we have systematically renamed files with duplicate names by appending numbers or letters to each patch name.
