In these three installments, the Grammy Award winner explains how they created music using drum samples and virtual instruments. Using the FL Studio software, he shows the various parts of the recording, discusses how they were made, and demonstrates his approach to making beats. Boi-1da talks about his favorite tools and sampling methodology. He explains why he deliberately keeps his sample library fragmented to encourage the introduction of new sounds and discourage formula dependency. In addition, Boi-1da talks about his influence and involvement in other projects with artists Drake and Rihanna!
