AR1 Reverb is an algorithmic reverb plugin designed to sound great on all types of instruments. AR1 sounds amazing on piano, bells, guitars and vocals, as well as on more synthetic sounds such as synth leads. We’ve set up and tested thousands of hours to get this sound just for any sound source you want to use.

 

The Reverb plugin is used to make the instruments sound like they are playing in a real location (Hall, Stadium, etc.), the algorithmic (i.e. real-time) reverberator needs to recreate this very convincingly, otherwise it will sound “wrong” or fake.

Dynamic Delay is a new stereo delay plugin with a built-in dacker. Dynamic Delay makes it easy to control the latency level based on the input signal level without the need for an external side-chain compressor. Looks like a convenient time saver! Daking with a sidechain compressor is a popular method. Lowering the latency level at a high input signal can help clear the mix. It also helps the latency really stand out at a lower input signal. In the new Dynamic Delay by Initial Audio, the compressor/dacker is integrated into the delay plugin, so you don’t have to set up a complex processing chain to perform this task.

IA-LA1 Compressor – Our IA-LA1 plug-in compressor is designed to be very responsive. It comes with a transparent algorithm that doesn’t introduce distortion or artifacts. But if coloring is required, we have THD control that introduces mild dynamic distortion, adding extra heat and depth. Boost X is a dynamic smart saturation/overdrive plugin. Used to make any sound warmer by adding additional harmonics.

Many other similar plugins use a static algorithm that does not change depending on the transmitted sound. These effects work like this: when the sound reaches a certain threshold, then saturation is applied. They are either on or off, and the degree of saturation is highly dependent on the volume of the sound transmitted in them.

Boost X is different – it responds to incoming sound and applies the perfect amount of saturation at the current volume. This means that even quiet sounds can be processed without any volume increase. Boost-X also compensates for perceived volume by lowering the volume, so you get beautiful rich harmonics added to your sound without upsetting the balance of the entire mix.
