Reverb goes to a new level
Paragon is a true convolutional reverb with the flexibility and control of classic algorithmic reverb, giving you the sound of real spaces, now with unprecedented customization options. Through resynthesis, Paragon offers complete control over attenuation, room size, and brightness of reverbs modeled from 3D recordings of real spaces – with no time stretching, which means no artifacts – not to mention spectral analysis and precise impulse response EQ. themselves.
Gone are the days of huge IR libraries. Why have 30 records of churches of different sizes when you can fine-tune the characteristics of a single church?
The reverb is ideal for surround sound applications including Dolby Atmos bed tracks, works with 7.1.2 audio channels.
The IR library is not too big and not too small, it’s just right. Gone are the days when the impulse response was stored for every possible configuration of every possible space – with Paragon, all you need is a few favorites that can be tweaked to create nearly limitless combinations of spaces.
Using state-of-the-art technology developed with Dr Jez Wells of the University of York, 3D impulse responses are analyzed, decomposed and re-synthesized to create authentic new spaces.
The Paragon IR panel also allows you to smoothly adjust the frequency response of real spaces by equalizing the reverb model itself and changing the decay rate depending on the frequency.
Reimagining Real Spaces :
Paragon’s reverb decay and room size can be set significantly longer, larger, shorter, and smaller than the original IR space without introducing ugly artifacts from sample stretching or deletion. Unlike a traditional convolution reverb, Paragon does not use a static impulse response, and this wider range allows you to transparently transform the sound of a space.
