Resomonia is a Kontakt instrument with 128 “resonating »Presets in the Ambient, Hybrid, Pad, Plucked, Wind and Soundscape categories.
Resomonia has five controls for modifying the sound, including control over vibrations, interferences and overflows (tuned delays). On top of that, you have precise control over the amp envelope, space (reverb), and the multi-mode filter. The wobble effect adds panning and movement to the sound, while the interference colors the sources with audible glitches and distortion.
Instead of multisampling the classic Rigid Audio instrument, the highly resonant filter effects were multisampled. For example, RA tuned the cutoff frequency of the filter so that it could be played melodiously. This resulted in unique resonant tones.
A total of 1400 sound sources have been created for Resomonia. For this, Rigid Audio has developed a new Kontakt interface, into which sounds are embedded.
The library is very interesting for experimental or cinematic music.
